Sun House is a studio Art Gallery owned and operated by world-renowned artist Gary Wayne Peterson of the N’amgis First Nation. Visitors can witness works of art in creation, ranging from the smallest creations to Totem poles and canoes. Inside, guests can view artworks in progress as well as completed pieces from the past and present. Sun House is located on Historical Cormorant Island, also known as Alert Bay, which is the Home of the Killer Whale. The gallery offers refreshments and restroom facilities for visitors.
