Maple Leaf Adventures have pioneered conservation-focused tourism on the west coast since 1989. Selected for Canada’s “Signature Experiences Collection” by the Canadian Tourism Commission, their multi-day expeditions give guests one-of-a-kind experiences in some of the most beautiful and rare places in the world. From ecological treasures like the Great Bear Rainforest to the famed archipelago of Haida Gwaii, guests embark on a discovery of the iconic BC and Alaska landscapes that shape our people, wildlife and culture. Little-visited, hard to access—Vancouver Island expeditions explore its rugged northwest, home to wildlife phenomena found nowhere else on the coast. There are no roads on these coastal safaris. Small groups of guests move between locations and live and dine aboard one of Maple Leaf’s three expedition yachts. Trips operate in the spring, summer and fall and range from five to nine days.
