- Rent a bike, kayak or SUP (Stand-up Paddle) board for local outdoor adventures. Sign up for SUP lessons on Comox Bay’s gentle waves. Send the kids to ocean camp at the end of Goose Spit. Tour the bay aboard a water taxi. And play a few rounds at Glacier Greens and the Comox Golf Course.
- Take as many as six self-guided walking tours that all start and end in downtown Comox. Drop into the Visitor Centre to pick up a map brochure that includes insider tips on favourite local eateries, shops and cafés.
- Wander the landscaped grounds of the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park, a seaside estate built in 1929 and now home to the annual juried Filberg Festival (arts, crafts, music and family fun) on the August holiday weekend.

- The Comox Museum and Archives chronicles the region’s history from pioneer days to the present – the struggles, the hardships and the good times alike.
- The Comox Air Force Museum and Heritage Air Park showcases vintage aircraft (an Avro Canuck, McDonnell Voodoo and Grumman Tracker included) and features exhibits documenting the history of 19 Wing Comox and West Coast aviation in general. The Comox Air Show is a highlight on Armed Forces Day in August.
- Picnic in Marina Park on takeaway sushi or local farmgate produce while enjoying views of the harbour and the distant peaks of the BC mainland’s coastal range.
- Every third Thursday evening from June to September, Comox Avenue is the setting for the popular Third Thursday Night Market. Farmers, local vendors and area businesses team up for this outdoor, pedestrian-friendly shopping event.
