Her work is influenced by the Gulf Islands' landscape, and she often incorporates 24-karat gold or platinum into her pieces. In 2004, she founded her studio and gallery on Galiano Island, nestled in the rainforest, where she collaborates with metal and woodworkers to create a seamless blend of materials.
