Hiking on Vancouver Island

From multi-day trips that require you to pack in and pack out your gear, to casual walks around a pristine lake, there are trails for hikers and walkers of all skill levels. On the Island, The Great Trail starts in Victoria, and winds its way through Colwood, Shawnigan Lake, Lake Cowichan, Duncan, Chemainus, Ladysmith, and eventually ending in Nanaimo.
